Floris Vermeer
Built in the Netherlands in the early 90’s and would consider myself an alternative music lover: lot of metal, rock, punk but also electronic music and rap. I like it all! Polo and boot lover. Big fan of Fred Perry, Lacoste and Dr. Martens. I’d consider myself a creative journalist, IT-nerd, always curious, love for art, culture, nature and I love people. Yes. Human beings are awesome!

Born and raised on the Scottish west coast, I’ve been into ska and subculture since my early teens. Docs, Fred Perrys and Harringtons were my uniform at school long before I had the feathercut that sealed it all together. Today I proudly call myself a skingirl. I’m all about sharp style, good friends, and music that makes you move — from ska and northern soul to punk and a bit of Britpop. Relco shirts, vintage Fred Perrys, and my Oxblood Solovairs are staples in my wardrobe. I’d call myself authentic, curious and always up for a dance. Glasgow gigs feel like home, but my style and scene connect me with people far beyond Scotland.
