Renowned engineer and musician, Steve Albini. sadly passed away t the age of 61. Albini succumbed to a heart attack at his recording studio, Electrical Engineering. His band, Shellac, was gearing up for a tour to promote their upcoming album To All Trains set to release next week.
Apart from his bands Shellac and Big Black, Albini was also known for his work as a recording engineer and producer for notable artists such as Nirvana, Pixies, PJ Harvey, Screaming Females, Leftover Crack, F-minus, OM, the Stooges, Jesus Lizard, Oxbow, and many others.
