Beats & Boots is expanding with a brand-new series: Show Tapes. This feature will bring listeners straight into the gigs — capturing the people, the venues, the merch, and the subcultures that make them come alive. Expect short interviews and conversations with the bands themselves, alongside raw snippets of their live performances. Stay tuned for the first drops.

Since its start, the Beats & Boots podcast has become a platform for skins, punks, and rudies to tell their stories. Season 2 has already featured voices from across the globe, digging into music, culture, and the fight against prejudice — and “Show Tapes” promises to carry that same spirit into the heart of the shows themselves.

At the helm is Nay, born and raised in Puerto Rico and now based in Florida. Shaped by the island’s mixed underground scene of the late ’90s, she grew up swapping cassettes, going to community-centre punk and Oi! shows, and carving her identity in a culture of unity and resistance. With Beats & Boots, Nay continues that journey — documenting personal stories and giving space to the diversity of subcultures worldwide.
